A Sunday 11:59 pm quote

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Confucius

Here’s a quote for today. A very well known one from Confucius the philosopher, who despite his name was not confused at all, nor his quotes are confusing. Just the opposite really – the truth lies in their simplicity. There must be at least several hundreds of great quotes in the book that lies somewhere around here, in my room, covered in dust. I must find it again. I remember a few of them though, and one of them was definitely something like: always find time to open a book because you can always find something enlightening in it. I must find the time again.

A more realistic version of the first quote could be something like this: “choose a job you can put up with and there’s a chance you won’t end up a wreck.”

Why is it a Sunday 11:59 pm quote? Because I am just a minute away from Monday. And Monday means work. And work means a job I can put up with. For now. Maybe. There’s a chance.
